CRT - Color Repair Technician
This two-day course is designed to be a hands-on in-depth learning
experience on problems that occur when there is color loss due to
chemicals such as:.
- Chlorine bleach
- High pH cleaners
- Urine / feces
- Chemical residue
The course also includes color correction education in the following natural occurrences:
In addition, there will be training to learn color related issues to include:
- Plant stains / furniture stains / red dye spills
- Traffic lane color loss - requiring color rejuvenation
- Side-match correction
- Pooling, watermarking, nap reversal
- Pivotal distortion
- Asphalt yellowing
This investment will provide tens of thousands of dollars in return
with very small amounts of time added onto each cleaning job. These
are specialized techniques that your competition will not be able
to perform.
This course intertwines videos, PowerPoint training, slides, hands-on
demonstrations with a course workbook that prepares you not only
for the certification exam but 20% of the certification test score
is derived from the ability of the students to perform proper color
repair techniques of the many samples that are provided during the
class.
Students will perform the color repair themselves with dyes on pre-bleached
carpet samples. This course covers marketing, how to match colors,
dyes and fibers, neutralizing, color therapy and chemicals used.
This course is a must for anyone in the residential or the commercial
cleaning industry. No cleaning technician today enters a residential
or commercial environment that doesn’t encounter the many
opportunities to correct bleach spills, sun fading, color loss in
trafficked areas, etc.
This course is required to achieve Master
designation.
